Oppo launched the A57 in 2016 with the Snapdragon 435 SoC and introduced the new A57 lineup this year, consisting of the A57 4G, A57 5G, A57s, and A57e. Now, Oppo is gearing up to launch the A58, whose pictures and specifications have surfaced online.
The source claims that the Oppo A58 will be powered by a Dimensity 700 SoC and pack a 6.56" HD+ LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone will run ColorOS 12.1 and have three memory options - 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB, and 8GB/256GB.
The Oppo A58 will feature an 8MP selfie camera, and on the back there will be a 50MP main camera using a Samsung sensor, joined by a 108MP secondary camera. This is probably the first smartphone to use a 108MP sensor for its secondary camera instead of the main unit. Or it could just be a typo.
Other leaked specifications of the Oppo A58 include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a 3,880 mAh battery with support for 33W charging. The smartphone will come in three colors - Tranquil Sea Blue, Breeze Purple, and Starry Sky Black.
There is no word on the price and launch date of the Oppo A58.
