The Chevrolet C8 Corvette Z06 is finally here, powered by a naturally aspirated 5.5-liter V-8 engine with a flat-plane crankshaft that produces 670 horsepower. A naturally aspirated engine, it is the most powerful naturally aspirated engine ever installed in a road vehicle, and it can rev all the way up to 8600 rpm. With the Z07 Performance package, which includes aggressive aerodynamics, carbon-ceramic brakes, carbon-fiber wheels, and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, it can be customized to your liking. Chevrolet offers an online visualizer tool that allows you to customize a new Z06 with different colors, roof options, wheels, and interior colors, giving you an idea of how you can customize the high-performance Vette to your liking. Some of the alternatives are as follows:
Some of the most recent additions to the C8 Stingray's color palette are Caffeine, Hypersonic Gray, and Amplify Orange, which are among the 11 exterior paint options available. The Z06, like the Stingray, is available in coupe and convertible body styles, with a choice of three different roof configurations. In the coupe, the roof can be painted in a body color or made out of visible carbon fiber, while the droptop can have a roof made out of body color or visible carbon fiber that is either painted or visible.
If you opt for the track-oriented Z07 Performance package, you'll receive carbon-ceramic brakes as well as a set of five-spoke carbon-fiber wheels, which can be ordered in either visible carbon weave or painted in black. The Z06 has only one wheel style without the track package, but it is available in six different finishes, including black and satin graphite, to match the rest of the car.
The C8 Z06 now comes standard with a full Adrenaline Red interior, which can also be ordered with black trim. There are five other color options to choose from: black, gray, two-tone blue, and tan, to name a few. Additionally, Z06 cars are equipped with a carbon-fiber steering wheel and carbon paddle shifters, and the carbon trim can be upgraded to two different levels, the first of which includes carbon trim on the door armrests (pictured). Additionally, a Stealth interior trim package is available.
When the 2023 Chevrolet C8 Corvette Z06 goes on sale later this year, there will be a plethora of configurations to choose from, and pricing is expected to start around $90,000 (depending on the configuration). We already know which specifications are our favorites, but please share yours with us so that we can see what your ideal Z06 looks like.
